I want to thank everyone for helping with the setup, tear down, and transport of the equipment. I would not be able to run the putting league without your assistance.

Thank You For Bringing The Equipment
I have 2 lightweight baskets that are easy for me to transport but do not catch well. Some better equipment was brought by folks for the putting league. Additional equipment was brought by:
* Kyle Lieberman (a backstop net)
* Jeff Hermenet (a high-quality basket)
* Dan Pavlina (a high-quality basket … I think it was Dan ??? Please correct me if I am in error)
Scoring Errors Found
Each putt made from the 1st tee spot is worth 1 point, each putt from the 2nd tee spot is worth 2 points and each putt from the 3rd tee spot is worth 3 points. Because we throw 2 putts from each of the 6 tee spots for each round, there are 12 putts thrown from each tee spot for each round.
On one scorecard, I saw a 17 for the points total for tee pad #1. It is an 18-hole course (3 tee spots at 6 baskets = 18 holes), but there are only 12 putts thrown at each of the tees. So, when only 1 putt is missed from all of the first tee spots, it is not 1 putt missed from 18 holes, it is 1 putt missed from 12 putts. So, when only 1 putt is missed from the first tee spots, the total is 12-1=11, not 18-1=17.
When I saw that misunderstanding error, I checked all the score sheets and found 6 or 7 math addition errors on various score sheets in various rounds. It took me about an hour to total all of the scores – which I will not be able to do in future weeks. So … please feel free to double-check scores as I am unlikely to catch scoring errors in the future (because I will not have time to add scores on every score sheet).
New “Putts Made” Record: 34 out of 36
Because the layouts change every week and some layouts are more difficult than others, it is not possible to do a true points-to-points comparison from week to week or from year to year. I have been running the league since 2014 and in that time, no one has made every putt to score a perfect round. This includes the years from 2014 to 2019 – before the appearance of the Little Basket Of Hate in 2020. There have been a few rounds where only 4 putts were missed, and 1 round where only 3 putts were missed. That was until last Tuesday.
Kyle Lieberman missed only 2 putts from the 3rd tee spots in the 3rd round. He had a score of 66 out of a maximum of 72 points. And yes, one of the missed putts was at the Little Basket Of Hate.
League Total Points: Top 12 Rounds (4 weeks).
The points for a player’s top 12 rounds (from any 4 weeks) are used for the point totals on the leaderboard. If a player attended all 5 weeks the lowest 3 round totals will be dropped. If a player attended 4 weeks or less, all of their round points will be used for the leaderboard.
