The Most Difficult Week
Well done! … in a sadistic way … The hole designers proved that they can make people miss putts. Ouch! This week had the most difficult putts of the season. Not the least of which was my design for the stage-to-floor basket (#2) which, seemed to me like a good idea at design time, but translated into a lot of missed points. My apologies to all. … And then there was the Tunnel Putt … If you had nightmares last night after Putting League, you may not want to look at the picture I added below.

Long Putts, Long Misses
This week, the hole designs all had long range putts for Tee #3 on each basket. Long putts translated into a number of long misses. The scores this week reflected the more difficult layout and the total points were lower than previous weeks.

Bringing The Pain!
The hole designers brought the pain this week with more interesting and challenging configurations. Nice work!

For Basket-2, the putt from the stage to the floor, was made more difficult this week when the designer added an obstacle that completely obscured all but the right most side of the basket when throwing from Tee-3. The tee-3 position required throwing a putt that had to fly right to left to score.

The counter to Basket-2, Tee-3 was Basket-5, Tee-3. The designer of this hole had obstacles blocking the right hand hyzer line, thus requiring a left to right flying putt to find chains.

New, Upgraded Statistic Format

I created a new, automated scoring system that displays each put thrown by each player. Putts that are missed are blank, made putts have check mark.

Thank you to all for helping set up, take down and transport all of the equipment. The putting league with 18 Holes and obstacles would not work without your help. I estimated that we would only be able to play 2 rounds per week. However, since you all have been so efficient in those tasks, we are able to play 3 complete rounds of 18 holes each week.
